Body Shop's Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner

Today I'm posting a review on Body Shop's Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. 

• Price: RM39.00

• 250ml (8.4Us FL OZ)

• Ingredients: Water, Alcohol Denat., Corn Starch Modified, Caprylyl Glycol, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Glycerin, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Salix Alba (Willow) Bark Extract, Allantoin, Calophyllum Inophyllum Seed Oil, Limonene, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, t-Butyl Alcohol, Citral, Leptospermum Petersonii (Lemon Tea Tree) Oil, Denatonium Benzoate, Tocopherol, Caramel, Yellow 5, Blue 1.

• How to use: Cleanse your face. Then, shake the toner well and pour some on a facial square and wipe off left over impurities before applying moisturizer of your choice.
• Ps: Don't use a cotton ball for toners or makeup removers because it will suck in lots of product.

My Honest Opinion

• This toner is suitable for Combination and Oily skin type; Mine is combination skin type but more to the oily side.

• I love love love this toner because it cleans my face really well and the after feeling is awesome.

•  After applying the Body Shop's Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner, my face feels really NICE & WARM :)

• It is a little pricey than the toners you buy in Watson, Guardian, Caring etc, but it is WORTH IT <3 span="span">

From left to right: Booster Glow, Casino, Laguna from the Trio,  Deep Dark, and  Gold Deposit.

Comparison:

Mac's Gold Deposit is with the most shimmer. Physicians Formula's Bronze Booster Glow-Boosting Season-to-Season is with slight shimmer and the most subtle in colour. Mac's Deep Dark has an orange tint to it. Nars' Casino has very slight shimmer (not really noticeable) with more colour pigmentation to it. Lastly, Nars' Laguna has noticeable shimmer and more lighter than Casino.

My Humble Opinion.

Actually I love all of the bronzers above. I have olive skin with a yellow undertone. Mac's Deep Dark does not really turn orange on me. I  use the bronzers alternately according to my mood. Thank you.

Pink Smoky Eyes

Hi guys,
I did this pinkish smoky eye look today using The Balm's Nude Tude Palette.


The Products I used are : 


1)I used the Stubborn,Stand-offish, Sultry, Sexy and Serious eye-shadows.

2)Urban Decay's Primer Potion.
3)Nyx Jumbo pencil in Milk 604

4) Silky Girl's High Definition Gel eyeliner pen in Intense Black.

Steps:-


1. Apply the eye-shadow primer all over your eyelids.
2.Apply the Nyx jumbo pencil on top of your eyelids and blend it out to avoid creasing.
3.Apply Stand-Offish on the inner corner of your eyes.
4. Apply the Stubborn in the middle part of your eyelids.
5. Apply Sexy on the outer corner of your eyes and bring it over your crease.
6. Then smudge out your cut crease with sultry to avoid harsh lines.
7. Apply the gel liner on your waterlines and line your top eyelids with the same black liner.
8. Using Serious, place Serious on the gel liner and smudge the eyeliner. Smudge till it reach a little higher.
9. Smudge not too high because you want to be able to see the pink colors on your eyelids.
10. Using Serious line your bottom lid with Serious and the on top of it Sexy to smoke it out.

Reviving Your Gel Eyeliner

YES!!! it is frustrating when your gel eyeliner gets cakey, cracked and dried out before you can finish using it.Some of us forget to put the cap/cover on our eyeliner. Sometimes it just dries out because of the weather. I was Googling for some ideas and found a trick which works. Ok here it goes :

My fav eyeliner is Silky Girl's Double Intense Gel Eyeliner (Waterproof).

Instructions/Directions:

1. Take some hot water (not boiling and not warm) and pour it into a container with a lid. I use a eversilver cookware with a lid.

2. Then put your eyeliner pot with its cap on tight  into the hot water filled container and close the lid like this;

3. Then wait up to 10-15mins or more depends on how dry is your gel eyeliner.

Tada!!! Your eyeliner is alive again. You can do this every time you want to use your eyeliner. I would suggest to do every time before use because the eyeliner gel won't clump on your eyeliner brush.

Subway Sandwiches: Healthy and Low in Calories if You know How to Choose :)

Seafood and Crab : 410 calories      Meatball Marinara: 560 calories    
Italian B.M.T : 450calories              Tuna: 530 calories
Spicy Italian: 380 calories                Subway Melt : 380 calories
Steak and Cheese: 360 calories

My Choice
To lessen the calories in Subway sandwiches, I choose the Italian White Bread and Roasted Chicken. Adding all the vegetable choices is not a problem because vegetables are super less in calories.:) For my sauce, I choose only chilli sauce; no mayonnaise and no BBQ sauce(high in fat); no terriyaki sauce (high in sodium). I don't like mustard sauce but its low in calories too :) Good Luck XOXO.

My Low Calorie Coffee : IndoCafe White

I love this 2 in 1 White Coffee because:

1. The coffee is made of  Instant Coffee+Non-dairy Creamer (without sugar).
2. It  costs RM 9.90.
3. It is available in Giant & Cold Storage supermarkets.
4. It is tasty.
5. Most of all, it is just 45 calories per sachet (stick).

To this coffee I add 2 equal sugar tablets.



















Each equal sugar tablet = 0.3kcal :)
Yes it contains aspartame (artificial sweetening).
As for me this sugar helps me cut down my calorie intake and I didn't experience any side effects.
I have been using artificial sweeteners since I'm 19 years old and I'm 24 now.
